Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.

1) I think that the strongest of my images was the one of my sister that you put on display in the library. I really liked it because it captured pretty much every little perfection and imperfection of this little girl. My favorite assignment was the home life variations because I really liked doing everything in Photoshop.

2) If I could redo an assignment I would probably dp

3) When I was shooting outside of assignments I was mostly shooting portraits of family and friends.

4) I think it would be really fun to shoot with animals. It would be fun to capture our home lives and out pets.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AN AWESOME YEAR MR. MARTIN.

Questions:
1. David Hockney was a photographer born in England. He was born in 1937. He took pictures and cut them, then layered them into a new image.
2. I was inspired by the pictures of people in which lots of pictures were layered.
3. I created my own twist by doing lots of the same layers.
4. If I were to re-do the assignment, I would try to add a bunch more layers to give even MORE texture.

1) I took pictures at my three dance recitals.

2)  I hoped to communicate the craziness and the happiness and the love that goes on behind the scenes at our dance shows.

3) I wish that I could have taken a picture of people actually running their dances with their costumes because I think it would have been really cool to capture that emotion when they were performing.

4) One surprise shot I captured was one of the little baby dancers when they were backstage.(:

1. The name of my image is The Underwater Bedroom.

2. The heads and the tops of the bodies and some of the fish are my pictures. The coral and animals, furniture and mermaid tails are from the internet.

3. My goal was the portray the image that Elsa, my sister, is a mermaid who is swimming in a bedroom flooded with water.

4. I used the inner and outer glow for this. I also learned how to select everything of the same color, which sounds kind of weird.

5. My favorite part is the big picture of her in the front because I really like how magical and glowy she looks!

6. I think that I could have made some of the bodies softer which would have made them look more underwater.

7. I probably would have added a different furniture because the lamp looks a little awkward.

8. I added furniture to make it look more like a background.

(:

Edward Burtynsky
Edward Burtynsky is a Canadian photographer who is famous for depicting global industrial landscapes. His works are featured in over fifty museums around the world. I like this image because of its vibrant colors in the water and details of the ripples in the sand. It has to do with the assignment because it is a landscape. This picture speaks to me because of the pinks and oranges which are colors that I really like.

Blog Questions(:

1) I shot in many places. The first place I shot was the pond behind my house and around the railroad tracks behind my house. The second place I shot was in my kitchen and of all of the flowers my mom got for her birthday. The third place I shot was walking to Leary field and at Leary field by the Junior High. When shooting, I took most of my pictures close up and on macro because then it captured the insides of the flowers and every little detail. In photoshop, I saturated my pictures a little bit to get a brighter, more vibrant color. (:

2) I think my most successful picture is the one of the yellow flower called “Dew”. I think that it is the most successful because I really like the water droplets and the stem of the flower is really pretty because in a way, it looks like it’s eating the flower which I think is really cool.

3) If I could change something, I think I would try to focus more on some of my pictures and not have some of them be a little bit blurry. The picture of the oil could have been more in focus, for example.
